The Department of Sociology, Government Degree College (Women), Kupwara, organized an Industrial Sociology tour to SIDCO Rangreth, Srinagar on 16th of May, 2026. The primary objective was to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world industrial environments. Students observed various workplace dynamics, labor relations, and organizational structures, enhancing their analytical skills and understanding of industrial sociology. Students observed and analyzed several critical components of industrial sociology. They noted the clear organizational hierarchies, division of labor, specific occupational roles, and production systems utilized in modern plants.
